Gentle Monster introduces its brand new optical collection, the ‘GENTLE’ campaign, questioning the concept of identity.
Half of the brand’s name has been removed for various other characters to fill the void, resulting in different identities coexisting in the same frame. Furthermore, diverse characters continuously appear throughout the campaign, expanding and transforming the concept of ‘diversity’. As the boundaries blur between brand and individual, each becomes more pronounced, and viewers encounter a new perspective on identity.
Other than ZEISS clear lenses with UV protection and blue light filtering functions, a variety of tinted colour lenses and gradient colour lenses are available in the collection. The collection has a breakthrough from traditional sunglasses and glasses, and created a balance between functionality and fashion items.
Swing 02 is a silver semi-rimless aviator frame featuring a distinct metal bar design. These glasses are also highlighted by beta titanium temples, making it lightweight and comfortable to wear. This frame is accentuated by the temple tips presented in the 2021 Collection and fitted with 99.9% UV protected and blue light filtering clear Zeiss lenses.
